Another Successful Edition of Print21 & Promodays Fair in Ljubljana

The Print21 & Promodays fair in Ljubljana successfully wrapped up on Thursday, April 3rd. Behind us are two days filled with intensive business meetings, technology premieres, and an excellent audience turnout. The Gospodarsko razstavisce was the central gathering place for professionals from the printing and promotional industries, and over the course of both days, the fair welcomed around 1,400 visitors from 13 countries.

Exhibitors expressed great satisfaction with the strong interest and interaction they had with visitors. Many made valuable contacts, agreed on future collaborations, and – most importantly – already closed their first sales.

Once again, organizational support was provided by the Chamber of Craft and Small Business of Slovenia (OZS). At the opening, attendees were briefly welcomed by Mr. Bernard Bucik, President of the Graphic Section at OZS, and Mr. Blaz Cvar, President of OZS.

Technology Premieres and Creative Solutions

Around 40 exhibitors showcased the latest digital printing technologies, innovative solutions, and top-quality promotional products. Visitors had the opportunity to discover offerings from leading global brands, some of which were presented in the region for the very first time.

Notable highlights included:
– The Rigo binder showcased by Eurocop
– Roland’s new UV flatbed printer VersaOBJECT MO-180 at the Europapier Alpe stand
– HP Latex R530 hybrid printer presented by Fortuna Digital
– IGEPA Pako brought the new Epson eco-solvent SureColor S91000, which was shown as a prototype at drupa, along with the Mimaki CJV 200 series which was also at CDS’s stand
– Konica Minolta displayed the toner-based AccurioPress 14010S
– Nanodiy announced a new collaboration with ArtisJet in the UV printer segment
– N.C.R. debuted the Mutoh HydrAton 1642, developed in synergy with Fujifilm and featuring newly developed Aquafuze™ inks
– Uni Biro showcased the Fujifilm RevoriaPress with an additional fifth color
– Xerox introduced the PrimeLink C9275, featuring entirely new LED technology and the same inks used in the Iridesse Press

Also on display were flatbed printers, print & cut systems, desktop UV printers, label printing solutions, cutters, engravers, DTF and DTG solutions, heat presses, finishing systems, and various materials for printing and personalization.

Two wrap corners once again drew a lot of attention. Visitors could learn the secrets of quality car wrapping at Europapier Alpe’s stand, while Fortuna Digital used drum wraps to demonstrate how, with the right film, any object can be given a fresh look.

Promodays: Growing Interest and Expanding Offerings

Promodays also attracted significant attention with a rich selection of promotional products from leading manufacturers and distributors across Europe and the region. The arrival of new exhibitors further confirmed the importance of this fair in the branding and personalization industry. Most trends focused on textile products, with a strong emphasis on personalization.

An educational corner was also part of the event, featuring presentations from: Fortuna Digital, introducing the new hybrid HP Latex and the Agfa portfolio, Konica Minolta, MVM and Xerox
Additionally, a panel discussion on the importance of automation was held, with participation from Konica Minolta and Sistrade.

A more detailed report will be published in the next issue of Print Magazine.
