The Novi Sad company Best Brand has decided to improve its production capacity by investing in a new HandTop HT1600 hybrid UV printer. After lengthy tests and a detailed investment/gain assessment, they decided to purchase this advanced printer.
The machine was delivered and installed by the company Igepa Polikarbonati, which is extremely proud to have been chosen as a reliable partner for this important step of the Best Brand company. Also, this is one of the first installations designated under a new name after it was announced at the beginning of the year that the Serbian company Oracal Polikarbonati is becoming part of the Igepa Group.
“We believe that the new HandTop HT1600 UV printer will significantly improve their production capacities. We are looking forward to future cooperation and joint ventures”, announced the company Igepa Polikarbonati.
Mr. Nenad Rastovic, owner and director of Best Brand, shared insights on how the new HandTop has benefited their company and what specific features impressed him.
The reason for this conversation is the investment in the HandTop HT1600 hybrid UV printer. What were the main reasons for the investment?
The main reason was the increase in production capacity and the possibility of printing on materials on which we previously could not print. The previous UV printer could not print from edge to edge of the material and since it was mostly a roll printer with the possibility of printing sheet materials, it was not so easy. With HandTop, printing is much faster and easier.
With this investment, we have enabled the company to further grow and expand its offer and product range. Now we will be able to respond even better to the needs of our clients.
What did the decision-making process look like and how long did it take? What requirements did the printer have to meet and what decided it to be the HandTop HT1600?
The process lasted about a month. Taught by the previous challenging experience of working with other UV printers, we carefully chose both the printer and the supplier. We tested different UV machines, and what determined our decision was the universality of the hybrid printer, the printing speed, the price, the immediate delivery time and the availability of local service support. Also, since we are limited by space, the machine had to be up to 160 cm wide.
