The Slovenian printing house CC Consulting center found an opportunity to be ahead of the competition with the investment in the six-color production printer Xerox Iridesse. They installed it only a year after its official presentation. As Mr. Robert Bitenc, owner of the CC Consulting center from Kranj, Slovenia told us, they did not hesitate much. The possibilities of Iridesse won them over at first.
“We have been loyal to Xerox since 2004. When we were invited to the presentation of the Xerox Iridesse production device in 2019, we immediately recognized certain advantages with which we could add value to our products. First of all, we were convinced by the additional colors that can be used in various combinations. Also, the speed on all weights of the material is much better. It is an extremely stable machine. It has much less downtime during operation, and the drums are much more durable and stable
With six colors in one pass, Iridesse offers standard CMYK in combination with HD EA dry toner for silver, gold and metallics and transparent and white topcoats. Due to all this, the possibilities of the machine become practically unlimited both from the creative side and from the aspect of applications. It is best to anticipate everything Iridesse can do when designing. Then it will be printed exactly like that.
We decided on additional colors, ie the Beyond CMYK configuration, precisely because we can enrich our prints with special effects. We have not been able to do so far, only with CMYK colors. Different combinations of color printing layouts allow you to create special and unique prints that only Iridesse can make. We saw this as an opportunity to be one step ahead of the competition in our region“, explains Mr. Bitenc.
