Why Zünd was the choice of the company Flash Print System from Pancevo, Serbia, we learned from Mr. Vladan Munica, owner and director of the printing house, which in the last two years has strengthened its production park with as many as two Zünd cutters. The G3 model was installed at the end of 2022, and the D3 model at the end of 2023.
“What we get from the Zünd cutter is unmatched precision and speed, which are the product of a combination of top Swiss performance, upgrades and options. In addition to the cutting option, it is also possible to drill, gouge, slit, groove and draw. The most interesting thing for us is that the material is not an obstacle because we work with different materials from both rolls and sheets. The machines work stably and there is no greater satisfaction when you know that it works reliably and safely 24/7. In addition, Zünd’s software solution, the so-called ZCC software proved to be significantly above the competition. It enables automatic calibration and precise calculation of cutting time, which facilitates production planning and definitely eliminates idle time”, said Mr. Munic.
You deal with digital printing of large format and POS materials. What improvements have you already felt in production and what else do you expect?
In short, the improvements are in the form of speeding up production, larger capacities and easier work. We work in two or three shifts and need stable and reliable equipment. That’s why in 2022 we decided on a completely new, by no means used, cutter of proven quality, which we personally convinced ourselves of in the first year of operation.
A year later, we decided to purchase a second, larger cutter. The new Zünd D3 allows us to raise the level of work automation in the future by adding certain elements that would increase our productivity and efficiency. We definitely expect both machines to work flawlessly for the next 10 years at full capacity.
Both installations and training were carried out by the Belgrade-based company Grafoadria and GRAFIKnet as a partner company. They were carried out, Mr. Munic tells us, quickly, professionally, meticulously and precisely.
