30 Years of Og grafika: a Story of People, Trust, Technology and Bold Decisions

With a celebratory event attended by around 140 guests, employees, partners and associates who have contributed to the company’s development over the years, Og grafika marked 30 years of family entrepreneurship. The celebration began with a tour of the production facility in Jastrebarsko and continued in a cheerful and relaxed atmosphere at the Kolaric Coletti winery in Jastrebarsko.
In addition to celebrating three decades of family business, Og grafika also marked the completion of a major investment cycle worth €4.5 million.

Over the years, Og grafika has grown from a local printing company into a technologically advanced business. Today, the company employs 47 people and operates successfully under the leadership of sister and brother Valerija and Filip Brkic.
The two took over management of the company in 2021 after the death of their father. As Ms. Brkic pointed out during her speech, it was an extremely challenging period because they had to quickly assume responsibility for both people and business operations without time for preparation. Today, they manage the company together with clearly divided responsibilities. Key decisions are made jointly, while differences in approach are viewed as an advantage.

“We build our longevity on the graphic arts market on two key pillars: business values that create customer trust and constant monitoring of the market combined with adaptation to change. It is precisely this combination of stability and flexibility that has enabled our continuous growth and development,” said Ms. Brkic.

Alongside technology, people remain at the center

Continuous investment in technology and production development has also marked the recent period. During a two-year investment cycle, the company invested as much as €4.5 million in equipment, further strengthening its production capacities.
In recent years, the company has actively expanded into foreign markets, particularly France and Germany. Today, special emphasis is placed on product personalization and flexibility, enabling solutions tailored to specific client needs. Og grafika stands out as a leader in calendar production, with more than 800,000 units produced annually, as well as one of the few printing companies with its own hardcover binding line for books, planners and notebooks.

Despite strong technological development and growth, people remain at the center of Og grafika. According to Ms. Brkic, the most emotional moment of the celebration was seeing everyone gathered together, family, team members and partners.
“That is when you realize that the greatest value is not only in results and machines, but in the relationships you build over the years. It is a feeling of pride, but also great gratitude, because then you see that this story is not only about business, but also about people,” said Ms. Brkic.
The anniversary celebration was therefore more than simply marking a milestone, it was a confirmation of continuity and an announcement of the future.

“The future development of Og grafika will continue to be based on monitoring market changes and adapting to customer needs. We increasingly see that the key to success lies in personalization and the creation of products tailored to each client. We have established strong foundations for that, built a recognizable brand, and customers recognize us for it. We believe we will continue to grow successfully in the future as well,” emphasized Ms. Brkic.
