The biggest Print21 fair so far with an impressive number of machines

The second Print21 fair this year was held on April 17th and 18th, in Zagreb, at the Congress Hall of Zagreb Fair. It is the return of the Print21 fair to Zagreb after two years of traveling around the cities of the region. During that time it was held in Belgrade, Sarajevo, Ljubljana and Novi Sad.

The shortest summary of Zagreb’s edition of Print21 fair is that it returned in style. It fulfilled the expectations of the exhibitors and brought a truly impressive number of machines and solutions to the satisfaction of all visitors.

This year’s edition in Zagreb is also special because it is the largest Print21 fair to date, both in terms of the number of exhibitors and the surface area. 35 companies presented their offer at the fair area of approx. 2100m2. This is just another confirmation that Print21 has grown into a respectable fair story that attracts exhibitors not only from the countries of the region, but also from beyond, and the industry obviously needs it.

More than 80 machines and a whole range of premiers

An exceptionally rich offer with more than 80 different machines and accompanying equipment on display attracted a large number of visitors on both days.

More than 1,300 people visited the fair in total. Although the first day of the fair was officially a non-working day in Croatia due to parliamentary elections, the visitors apparently did not mind. Many took the opportunity to walk around the fair in peace, without the daily rush at work, to look at the solutions and to talk with colleagues in a relaxed atmosphere. As the exhibitors told us, they had their hands full during both days, and they did not feel a day off.

Exhibitors that presented their offer: Azonprinter, Black Line, Cotton Classics, Cron – Prepress Print, DIT, DRM, Elgrav Laser, Eurocop, Europapier Dipa, Eurotrade, Falk & Ross, Gea Data, Servis Elektroterm, Ganima / USB.hr, Graphic Center, Guandong, Igepa Pako, Konica Minolta, Kopitehna, Mega Dizajn, OKI/Microline, Multi Insert, Nanodiy, Millea, NVM Graphic Solutions, Og grafika, Radin, Repro-grav, Rigo, STH, Subligo, Tepede, Toscana systems, Valento and Xenon forte.

Most of the solutions were related to the textile printing segment, primarily DTG and DTF. However, there was no lack of other solutions either. Production solutions for printing from sheets and rolls, flatbed printers, cutters, hybrid solutions, laser cutters, engravers, UV and eco solvent printers, thermal presses, software, foils, a wide range of promotional textiles… this is only part of what could be seen.

The fair also brought a number of premieres, many of which attracted a lot of attention. You will be able to find more about them in the next edition of Print Magazin.

Part education, part cocktails

Print21 also brought four interesting panels in the educational corner. On the first day, the ever more important automation was discussed. Participants were representatives of the companies Sistrade and Xenon Forte. Second topic was packaging printing as a constantly growing sector, in which Grafik.net and 3-Print Adriatik participated. On the second day, the topics were commercial printing as the basis of the graphic industry, which was discussed by representatives from the companies Image Enter, Konica Minolta and Xenon Forte. Finally, the increasingly popular textile printing in which Symbol Group and 3-Print Adriatik participated.

A special touch on both days was given by the happy hour Cocktail bar powered by Badel 1862! And how much fun we had, you see in the photo gallery.

The words of one of the exhibitors that Print21 is getting better and better with each edition are the best wind at our back. At the same time, it’s also an invitation to everyone to the new two editions of the fair in 2025, in Sarajevo and Ljubljana.
